Chair of Clinical Research
As part of his academic activities, Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Andreas Pfützner holds the Chair of Clinical Research at the Technical University in Bingen, Germany.
Here he teaches students about the complex field of clinical research and prepares them for their future tasks in medical science.
Mastering the challenges of the digital age together
With the aim of sustainably improving diagnostics and therapy through the use of apps and internet-based services, Prof. Pfützner and the University for Digital Technologies in Medicine & Dentistry (DTMD University) founded the “Institute for Internal Medicine and Laboratory Medicine” (IML), which Prof. Pfützner has headed since 2017.

In his lectures, Professor Pfützner explains the latest research findings on metabolic and cardiovascular diseases – and discusses the findings with other experts in order to establish new approaches in science.
