Helping people improve their quality of life is deeply fulfilling – and it motivates me to dedicate myself to medicine, day after day.

From personal experiences to breakthrough therapy concepts

Watching their struggles, I quickly realized that the conventional medical treatments available at the time did little to meaningfully improve their condition.

This personal experience became a turning point in my medical journey.

With my background as aphysician and chemist, I have evaluated scrutinized the current therapeutic approaches. Intensive study of the physiological and biochemical metabolic processes in the body I tried to better understand the causes of the various forms and phenotypes of diabetes and to develop personalized treatment concepts – far beyond controlling blood sugar.

My interdisciplinary knowledge gave rise to four innovative therapeutic approaches: personalized diabetes treatment (SOC+) and the ReNew, ReStore and RePair treatments.

What gives me strength and motivation?

Time with my family.

I am a family person through and through.
Spending time with my family is particularly important to me and gives me the necessary balance to my many professional commitments. Joint activities and the support of my loved ones are essential for me.

Time in nature.

One of my great passions is fishing.
For me, fishing offers the perfect opportunity to completely unwind and experience nature in all its facets. It's an activity that relaxes me and allows me to clear my mind.

Time for me.

Another passion of mine is sailing. .
I am fascinated by the perfect combination of nature, technology and freedom. Being driven only by the wind, reading the wind and weather and being in harmony with the boat gives me a feeling of complete independence and serenity.
